Sunday lunch - Great service, very friendly.
Beef was great but the vegetables need to be better. We had 2 small sharing dishes between 6 which meant two tiny pieces of carrots each.

Had a family lunch there recently. Was our local, but under new management.
Service was really good, would have given 5 stars but food took a long time to arrive. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Steaks get a special mention as superbly cooked. All plates were empty at the end! Enough said

A quintessential countryside setting. Lovely pub with great food and a welcoming staff. Stopped in for lunch (healthy portions) by chance but will be sure to come back for a stay in the future!
Food & drinks: Food was served in large portions and tasted as good as it looked.
Noteworthy details: Well maintained classic setting complete with low ceilings, doors and exposed beams.

Stayed overnight at short notice. Supper was great and the staff and service were friendly. Pub is dog friendly and even allow dogs overnight in the rooms. Just as well as the boy got a bit over excited in the bar whilst I was having my supper and allowed me to eat in my room. The ham, egg and chips were excellent as was the salt and pepper squid starter. There's a Nespresso machine in the room although it didn't seem to work in the same way as my own. A nice bed and the boy and I overslept. Lovely little village location too. It was the first time I can recall visiting the village although I must have driven past the entrance frequently.

Lovely rustic old pub with bed and breakfast rooms too. Rooms were nice . Thin walls so you here the neighbours a bit but to be expected in a building of this type.
Food and service was excellent.

Visited for some food to try another fairly local pub. Very impressed and will visit again. Booking advised!

Lunched there with a group of friends last week. Great food, very generous portions; fast (but not too fast!), friendly and unobtrusive service. Lovely atmosphere. All made for a thoroughly enjoyable few hours. Thank you!

We had a fantastic Sunday roast for seven for my wife's birthday. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend and will go back again when we are next in the area.
Thank you for such a great meal.

Popped in here Fri eve for a spot of dinner. We shared a starter, and then had the venison pave and mussels. Food was all very tasty and well prepared. Atmosphere is really pleasant in the Perch & Pike with a dining area, as well as a pub area so its not too loud. My only advice is the portions are a good size so make sure you're hungry!!
